I suppose this is another one you can file under the slightly surreal jobs list…
As readers of The Great Outdoors (TGO) magazine know, when Ed’s not doing stand up or appearing on Mock the Week he pens a monthly column about his outdoor adventures.
On this chilly grey day at a secret(ish) location on the shores of Windermere Ed was tasked with learning some of the intricacies involved with building a dry stone wall. Or the skill of how to mould a muddy pile of stone into something approximating the artful constructs that delineate the working Lakeland landscape.
