The forecast for yesterday’s workshop was a little on the damp side, but thankfully the rain came in bursts rather than persistent sheets.
Unless it’s really impossible to shoot without getting a lens full of water, rain isn’t something to be shied away from when it comes to landscape photography. It can help to saturate colours, and wet rocky surfaces can really shine. And of course a damp moody Lake District is always more appealing to shoot than a cheery clear blue one.
So here’s a bit of that damp mood from Grasmere yesterday.
