Bruised Gold, Newlands Valley
Posted on July 5, 2011 by Stewart
The winning vista from the Lake District Favourite View competition. The Newlands Valley enclosed by a golden circle of Cat Bells, Maiden Moor, Dale Head, Hindscarth, Robinson, and Rowling End (the front of Causey Pike).
A superb summer morning, nigh on perfect clouds, nigh on perfect light. Just wonderful to be there. July 2011.
