Taken at the end of a rather long day, where I'd camped somewhere to the right of this shot, walked up Pillar and completed the Mosedale Round down into Wasdale, and then climbed back up to Black Sail Pass again for the lovely summer evening sunlight flooding the scene you see before you.
You can't say the diminutive fell of Haystacks dominates too many scenes, but it holds centre stage quite nicely here. August 2010.
