I arrived on Skye in early evening in glorious summer sunshine, and after quickly pitching the tent headed straight down the glen as conditions were too good to let slip by. This could have been the last of the sunshine the whole week after all!
Some wispy cloud began to form on Sgurr Nan Gillean and the distant Cuillin mountains, and I spent some time just playing around amongst the rocks and orange and purple heather trying to find a foreground composition I liked. A lovely way to start the trip! July 2011.
