Cloud Waterfalls, Bannerdale Crags

An early start, but not far to walk, having camped on top the night before. A perfect temperature inversion, spoilt only by Blencathra blocking my view of most of the rest of the Lake District.

The cloud was rising and falling and ebbing and flowing across the top of the crags and the slightly longer shutter speed of this shot gives it an ethereal quality. May 2010.
