Gable Blush

It's easy to get distracted by the direct light first thing in the morning and lose how much the whole scene can be influenced by it.

Here, for example, not only is the summit of Great Gable catching the first pink glow of the new day, but the whole scene is suffused with it.

The quality of the light changes so quickly as the sun rises, as does the human eye/brain ability to adjust to it, so it can be tricky picking the best moment to shoot, particularly after a 2 hour walk in the dark.  February 2012.
