Scafell and Wasdale from Great Gable. A monochrome treatment of an earlier shot. The more I look at this the more I like it. The view down the screes is great anyway, but the late evening light catching the edge of the rocky ridge, then Scafell, then Wastwater leads the eye through the scene wonderfully.
