Mirk Howe

The Lake District is (rightly) famous for its world class hill walking, however the south Lakes in particular has scope for some fabulous lower level meandering.

Mirk Howe - a converted 18th century farmhouse in the heart of the Lyth Valley - not only offers easy access to many such routes, but sits amongst 36 private acres of rolling pasture all of its own.

Recently photographed for and on the market with Ashdown Jones.
